Sejerslev produced and delivered the complete steel structure for Frederikssund Culture and Harbour Bath as a subcontractor to Per Aarsleff A/S.
The delivery comprised approx. 50 tonnes of steel structures and covered production, delivery, coordination and quality assurance.
The steel contract included:
- Load-bearing columns and beams
- Bridge and walkway structures
- Steel stairs and access structures
- Railings and safety structures
- Bespoke brackets and connection details
All elements were produced and delivered by Sejerslev.
Steel for an exposed environment
The location close to the water placed demands on corrosion protection, detailing and execution.
The steel structures were executed with hot-dip galvanising and a subsequent coating system suited to exposed environments.
The delivery was carried out in connection with a complex construction environment with limited access and many simultaneous activities.
The work comprised production planning, logistics management, coordination with other trades, tolerance handling and documented quality assurance and material traceability.
