From production to installation
In connection with the PR24 project, Sejerslev delivered and installed custom-manufactured steel structures for marine use.
The delivery comprised access structures and heavy protection structures, where Sejerslev held the responsibility from production and surface treatment to delivery and installation.
- Gangway bridge of approx. 10 tonnes
- Steel stairs
- Steel structures for Duc d’Albe mooring piles
- Two fender structures of approx. 11 and 15 tonnes respectively
Full delivery in EXC3
Sejerslev handled production and preparation, surface treatment, transport, delivery, installation, lift planning, quality assurance and handover.
The delivery was executed in EXC3 acc. to DS/EN 1090-2. The marine application placed demands on execution quality, corrosion protection and robust connection details.
The project required planning of heavy lifts, coordination with operations and access conditions, precise fit-up, and documentation and quality assurance.
The installation was carried out at quay facilities and marine installations with a focus on safe execution.
