Quality & documentation

Documentation is part of the delivery.

For Sejerslev, quality is not only about the finished result. Materials, welding procedures, inspection and execution must be documented throughout the entire project.

01 // Approach

Traceability throughout the process.

Documentation requirements vary from project to project. We therefore base our work on the specific delivery and the requirements for materials, production, welding, inspection and execution.

Welding coordination, WPS/WPQR and verification of welder qualifications are included as needed before, during and after execution, so that inspection and documentation are connected with the work.

03 // Execution classes

The requirements follow the project.

Sejerslev is certified to EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 in execution classes EXC1, EXC2, EXC3 and EXC4. The certification covers load-bearing steel components with welding. Production is carried out according to the relevant requirements in DS/EN 1090-2 and the specific project specification. The current scope of the certification is stated in the applicable certificate.

04 // Documentation

The documentation must be able to follow the work.

Depending on the requirements of the project, the documentation can include:

  • Material certificates and traceability
  • Visual inspection and relevant NDT
  • Documentation of surface treatment
  • WPS/WPQR and welder qualifications
  • Dimensional and geometric inspection

The specific scope of inspection and documentation is determined by the requirements and execution class of the task.

06 // Positioning

Quality must be traceable, not just promised.

Quality, documentation and execution are connected. This creates a clear basis for the collaboration and makes the quality of the delivery verifiable.
