Sejerslev specialises in welding, steel fabrication and installation for complex infrastructure, foundation, utility and industrial projects - in our own workshop and on site.

A steel structure must work on the drawing, in production and during the final installation.
That is why we work across the disciplines that connect the project material with the finished structure.
This can include technical clarification and detailed engineering, certified welding, in-house production, quality assurance, logistics and installation - depending on the scope of the project.
On-site welding & specialist steelwork
On-site welding and specialist work form part of many of our deliveries on bridges, railways, harbours, foundation projects and technical utility installations.
The work is carried out according to the requirements of the project, with qualified welders, relevant WPS, welding coordination and documented inspection and traceability.
Our experience covers sheet piles, piles, anchor consoles, bracing, tension frames, steel joints and pipe welding, among other things. Requirements for execution class and procedures are defined for the specific task.
Welding procedures & specialised welding
We hold an extensive range of WPS, supported by WPQR, covering different processes, materials and welding methods. Our experience spans manual and automated welding and stud welding through to welding of reinforcement steel, stainless and duplex stainless steel, and pipe welding in district heating systems, among others. The validity of the procedures and the qualifications of the welders are always assessed against the specific task.
Technical clarification & detailed engineering
When an engineered solution must be turned into production and installation, we work with the technical conditions that matter for a safe and feasible execution.
This includes production documentation, joint details, tolerances, structural interfaces and close coordination with consultants and other project parties.
On E45 project 6070.204, Sejerslev contributed through engineering calculations and dialogue with the consultant to the re-engineering of approx. 140 tonnes of steel structure, so that the solution accounted for the actual tolerances of the sheet piling.
In-house production
We produce steel structures in our own workshop and can carry a technical production basis directly through to machining, fit-up welding, quality control and preparation for installation.
Our production setup includes:
- CNC plasma cutting
- Automatic sawing
- Assembly of load-bearing steel structures and custom-manufactured components
- Robotic welding with a CLOOS welding robot
- Manual specialised welding and production
On both E45 and Skive Fjordbad, in-house production forms an integrated part of the overall steel delivery.
Quality & documentation
On steel deliveries with documentation requirements, quality assurance follows the entire process - from materials and welding coordination to production, inspection and handover.
Depending on the requirements of the project, the documentation can include:
- Material certificates and material traceability
- Traceability between parts, joints and documentation
- WPS, associated WPQR and welding coordination
- Documented welder qualifications, including ISO 9606
- Visual inspection and relevant NDT, for example MT, UT and RT
- Dimensional and geometric inspection
- Documentation of surface treatment and corrosion protection
Installation & execution
Our work continues out on the construction site.
We carry out installation and specialised welding where access, tolerances, safety, logistics and coordination are part of the technical task. Short decision-making paths make it possible to handle changes close to the practical execution.
